Dr. Roberson-Moore is a double boarded physician. She is board certified in General Psychiatry and Neurology in addition to Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. She believes in a holistic and integrative approach to the promotion of wellness in children, adolescents and families while addressing treatment of a variety of mental health concerns. She has a direct patient care model allowing for a highly personalized approach to treatment, offering primarily medication management, adjunctive micronutrients and limited psychotherapy.

Dr. Roberson-Moore is a sought after thought leader in the field of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Over the years she has traveled to speak at national conferences, appeared on WGN-TV, featured as an expert in Fortune Magazine, U.S. News and World Report, MSN, Healthline and other media outlets. She is committed to educating future clinicians as evidenced by her regular lecture series to resident physicians and role in the co-creation of an internet based pediatric anxiety learning module, a guide for medical students in the diagnosis and treatment of Anxiety Disorders. She is published in peer reviewed journal articles and a book chapter in Clinical Considerations in Child and Adolescent Mental Health with Diverse Populations: Cultural Considerations in Working With Black and African American Youth. As a public speaker and consultant, she has also worked with law firms, schools and hospitals. She has a passion for advocacy on a systemic level to impact change and improve the lives of children affected by mental health conditions.
DR. TOYA ROBERSON-MOORE, M.D.
About
Dr. Roberson-Moore received her bachelor’s degree in Cell and Molecular Biology from the University of Michigan and Doctor of Medicine from Wayne State University. She completed both her Adult Psychiatry Residency and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Dr. Roberson-Moore distinguished herself as Chief Resident during her second year of Fellowship.
Dr. Roberson-Moore holds an academic appointment as Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Illinois at Chicago School of Medicine. She is a diplomat of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and holds memberships in the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (AACAP) and Illinois Council of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.

In addition to establishing a private practice, Dr. Roberson-Moore worked for 10 years providing psychiatric services to adolescents in a Partial Hospital Program and served as the Associate Medical Director. She also held an Adjunct Faculty appointment as Assistant Professor at Northwestern Feinberg School of Medicine.
